Team Information

We are one of the few gyms in the Southern region offering three different types of team gymnastics

Artistic Team

Chapin Christian Gymnastics offers the very best in USAG Compusory and Prep opt gymnastics. Although a new team, many of our girls placed first at Clemson’s Tiger Paw meet and at other meets including the AAU State meet. Fourteen of our girls went to Nationals in 2009 with many of them placing in their division. Compulsory gymnastics, levels 2-5, perform routines choreographed by USA Gymnastics Association. Prep Opt allows the gymnast to be creative in developing their routines with skills that best fit their ability.

Acro Team

Acro is an exciting dance and stunt base gymnastics. Gymnasts work in groups of 2 or 3 combining flexibility, strength and grace to perform beautiful routines. We are one of the few in the Southern region which provide this form of gymnastics. We also perform locally at festivals and in house meets.

Group Team

Group gymnastics provides opportunities for all ages, levels and abilities and contributes to the development of general sport skills, fitness and health. Each routine consists of a team of or more boys or/and girls. Athletes are trained to work together as a team.  Routines include tumbling and stunts to music, simultaneous tumbling, vaulting and mini-tramp.  The group competes and also performs locally at festivals.  In 2009 our team placed first at the AAU State meet.
